Alffiw.com — built from scratch.
My personal sitefor writing, projects and photography — and a complete example of how I design, build, deploy and host a website from start to finish.
Somewhere to write, and somewhere to build.
I wanted somewhere to put my thoughts, photography and projects — and the chance to build the whole thing exactly how I wanted. No templates or page builders; just a site I could keep developing over time.
Fast pages, readable type, no clutter
Built to be quick, simple and easy to use on any device. There are no unnecessary trackers, pop-ups or bloated plug-ins — just the content and the things needed to make it work.
The same approach I bring to client websites.
Building and running my own site means I deal with the whole process myself — design, development, deployment, hosting, security and backups. It's the same end-to-end approach I bring to the websites I build for clients.
If I wouldn't run it on my own site, I'm not putting it on yours.
